BOUNCE!

We were blessed with a few hours of "warm" weather this afternoon. We had been running errands all day and just couldn't buckle all 3 kids in the van one more time. Out comes the Jumpy Slide!! The girls had a blast and we even got Ethan in there for awhile. He was happy when just one sister was in there but when they both started jumping around him and he was bouncing all over the place, not so much. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend - enjoy the pics!
"what up, mommy?"

Allison felt like she had to guard the "door" the whole time.....so cute!

SUNSHINE!!

"It felt like springtime on this February morning....."

Today was absolutely beautiful. You would have thought it was 80 degrees. It was only 45 degrees, but it felt like summer compared to the temps in the 20's we've been having. After naptime, Mark and I took the kids to a local elementary school playground. They had so much fun. Ethan was so cute, it was only his second time in a big boy swing. Enjoy the pics!!
Such a cool slide. Emily calls it the "squiggly" slide.
Little brother
I wish his eyes were open - this picture is so cute! My 2 favorite guys ;o)
I could just eat him up and pinch his little cheeks forever!!

Allison and Ethan
How cute is he?!!?!
I LOVE this little guy.....and he loves the swing!
so serious.
sweet sisters - this picture makes me tear up....

Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day is also my birthday so it was double special for me. I got lavender roses (my FAVE) and breakfast in bed! WOW!! We went to church and then to lunch with my in-laws. The kids are still trying to find all their Valentine candy, which mommy so nicely found a hiding place for. They didn't have this much candy at Halloween! We (I) decided we should have cake in the afternoon before dinner so the kids would go down a little less sugar-loaded! Emily helped her daddy decorate the cookie cake. They did a great job - I was very impressed!!We got a decent pic of all 3 kiddos, the flowers and the cake.....do you like my candle?!!
An attempt to get me with all 3 of my babies. Ha!
The (chaotic) story of my wonderful life!

IT'S SNOWING!!

The meteorologists were right this time - we got a little over 4 inches of snow. It was not doing anything at 0845 this morning while taking the kids to school. We looked outside at 1015 and it was snowing like crazy. By 1045 we had already gotten an inch. Mark and I got all the calls that school was closing at 1100 - which meant 2 lost hours for us to get things done. The girls were so excited when we were walking to the car. They did get to have their Valentine parties but there were rushed and super early. LOTS of candy and treats sent home. Ethan had his 9 month checkup at 1:00. They called to see if we could come in by 1130......I dropped the girls off in the garage with Mark and headed to the pediatrician's. He did great. Mark and I took the kids to the mall for lunch and playtime at the bookstore. Then back home for naptime and fun in the snow! I think Daddy might have had the most fun ;o)!!

This was about noon - we had much more fall during the next few hours.
And here is the Snowman of the Year!! Check out his sippy cup lids, tool belt and yes, the green onion! Emily was so proud of this one.....she named him "Daddy."
Eating snow!! and it wasn't the yellow kind!!
The first sled ride of the day! Emily was really way more excited than she looks and Allison never really quit making this look. She would rather be viewing the action from the window - in a warm house (like her mommy).
Emily running home!
We went to the Dearing's (neighbors) house to let the boys play with our sled. Emily had a BLAST!!
Jason with his boys - so cute!!
Ethan was out there too. He wasn't very happy; besides it being below freezing, he had just gotten 3 shots at his 9 month checkup.
Me with Allison and Allison (our neighbor) with Ethan. I really need to grow a few more arms!!
And this was pretty much how the day ended.....WAY too much candy at their Valentine's party + being wet and cold = a few miserable kiddos (and parents)- hahaha!!

Our yard is perfect for a ball game but not for sledding, so we used Mildred's (sweet lady across the street) hilly front yard!
I wonder what Allison is thinking?!?!
CRASH!! It was my first time sledding with two little girls ;o).

Playtime

Emily wanted to get in some pictures too. Poor Allie B., she is usually sleeping while we are playing.....and not to mention it's SO much easier to get 2 to cooperate. Ethan looks like such a big boy in these - where is my baby??
He LOVES this toy!
Priceless!
Nice static, Em!!
My fave!

Roly-Poly

Ethan and I were playing this afternoon so I turned it into a photo op. He was super happy - he usually is. He is such a sweet boy. He rolls around everywhere but it was neat to capture it on camera. He is holding on to his toy the entire time! LOVE this little guy!!

Mary Ann's Wedding

My baby sister got married last weekend. She was absolutely stunning! Hopefully I'll get some more pics from someone - we only had our camera for a few minutes prior to the ceremony. Emily did so well as a flowergirl. I was so proud of her - she did everything perfect! And the two little ones were angels as well.
Me with my two beauties!
Me and my little man. The lady behind him had the same color hair as him!
The only decent pic of all 5 of us. Hopefully someone else got some too.
Another photo of the Kiel girls.
